I went to a concert with these. I was also still able to enjoy the music and hear what I needed to. They're good at work too. I put them in and could focus on what's in front of me while blocking out the droning voices, mechanical or industrial noises that plague my ears during the day. I can focus on sounds more, oddly enough, while wearing these.

I previously used other earplugs, and I really liked them. However, when I tried Hears, they're a whole other level. More noise reduction, a much more pleasant frequency curve. Also the sized ear tips really allow me to get the right fit. I can hear conversations in loud environments very comfortably.
